Danish thrillseekers Yung embrace everything on new ‘Don’t Cry’ track
“Live fast, die Yung” is the motto for these four, their debut EP due out this March.

There’s an undying exuberance to ‘Don’t Cry’, the latest track from hyped-up Danish punks Yung, who release their debut EP ‘Alter’ on Tough Love Records, 2nd March.
Schooled in a post punk embrace, ‘Don’t Cry’ shifts its way through countless structures and transitions, but one thing always remains: A don’t-give-a-fuck, arms-aloft embracing of life and all its see-saw surprises.
It’s led by frontman Mikkel Holm Silkjær, whose vocals - always shrouded in a sea of effects - pierce through just about any surface when it’s time to deliver a message. There’s a reason these four have picked up so much attention back home. Next step? A debut UK gig at London’s The Old Blue Last, 2nd March. Tickets are available now via DICE.
Saw-toothed and soaring, listen to Yung’s ‘Don’t Cry’ track below, as premiered on DIY.
