Deerhoof announce ‘Fever 121614’ live album
Recorded in Japan last year, the record’s out in November, but you can watch a video of the performance right now.
It may not be quite as ‘out there’ as their recent show in front of the Large Hadron Collider, but last year saw Deerhoof take their most recent album ‘La Isla Bonita’ to Japan. Now, those of us not privy to their show at Fever in Tokyo can live it vicariously through the form of an upcoming live album, ‘Fever 121614’.
The show - which took place on December 16th last year, hence the title - was also filmed for an accompanying video download of the whole gig, and the vinyl features gatefold packaging displaying a collage of fan-made manga portraits of the band.
Check out footage of Deerhoof performing ‘We Do Parties’ at the show below. ‘Fever 121614’ is released on October 21 in Japan and November 27 worldwide via Polyvinyl / Felicity.
