Deerhoof Announce New Album, Share Snippets
Parts of ‘Breakup Song’ can be listened to via the band’s website.
Deerhoof are to release a new album later this year.
‘Breakup Song’ will be available via ATP on 3rd September, and the band are already offering fans a quick listen of what to expect, via a contraption on their website titled the ‘Jingletron’.
The virtual jukebox plays random snippets from the record, upon a user dropping a token in to the slot. Like a real jukebox, but er, with pixels. And no choice of songs.
Have a play at it, here.
The tracklisting for ‘Breakup Songs’ is:
Breakup Songs
There’s That Grin
Bad Kids to the Front
Zero Seconds Pause
Mothball the Fleet
Flower
To Fly or Not to Fly
The Trouble With Candyhands
