Deerhoof announce US tour supports
Perfect Pussy and Of Montreal will be joining the electro-punks on March dates.
Deerhoof will be returning to the US in March after a European tour and have announced who will be supporting them. The 18 date tour kicks off in Connecticut on 9th March with Of Montreal joining them for ten shows before Perfect Pussy take their place from the 21st until the tour ends in New York on the 28th.
The band will be playing in support of their twelfth album, ‘La Isla Bonita’, which was released in November and written during a ten-day stint in their guitarist Ed Rodriquez’s Basement. In a recent interview with DIY, Greg Saunier said “We love to tour with younger bands, to show them how fun it can be with the mindset that every show might be your last.”
Also joining the bill at various points will be Yonatan Gat, Fred Thomas, WUME and Zula. The tour dates and support slots are as follows, and below is the Perfect Pussy remix of Deerhoof’s ‘Exit Only’.
