Deerhoof announce new EP ‘I Thought We Were Friends’

The band have shared the first of its two tracks - it’s titled ‘Risk Free’.

They may have only released an album back in June, but Deerhoof are feeling as productive as ever: they’ve announced plans to release new EP next month.

The band are all set to release their new two-track EP on 18th November via Famous Class. It’ll follow on from their latest album ‘The Magic’, which was released earlier this year.

The (somewhat brief) tracklisting of ‘I Thought We Were Friends’ is as follows - you can hear ‘Risk Free’ below too.

That’s not all: the band have also confirmed plans to join the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the road next month, when the stadium giants return to Europe for a slew of supermassive shows.
