Dilly Dally preview debut album with the ferocious ‘Desire’

Just like that, Toronto force Dilly Dally have sprung up with a vital, vicious statement of intent. ‘Desire’ is the lead single from the group’s debut full-length, which follows on from a series of Bandcamp self-releases. On the one hand, ‘Desire’ sounds giant venue-ready, sky-reaching with its intent - on the other, it’s an intensely personal, introverted kick to the system.

The track previews Katie Monks and Liz Ball’s first work, ‘Sore’, which comes out on 9th October via Partisan. The group are currently supporting Metz and Speedy Ortiz on a run of summer shows, and this latest track pits them in the middle of the two headliners, spitting venom while showcasing a classic songwriting edge.
