Dilly Dally unleash noise with ‘Purple Rage’ single

Dilly Dally channel fear and frustration like few others. Just when they look to have reached their grunge-infested peak, out steps another pierced yell or spike-embellished guitar line. There’s never a limit, in their books.

It’s an ever-present mantra running through the group’s debut album ‘Sore’, which comes out 9th October via Partisan Records. On new song ‘Purple Rage’, that instinctive sense of urgency gets channelled into something boldly triumphant. “You don’t know me, you don’t know me,” repeats vocalist Katie Monks, who pendulum swings from swaggering verses to shrill chants in the blink of an eye.
