DJ Pete Tong to play special free All Points East show this weekend

Not got plans this Sunday? Well, now you do! Legendary DJ Pete Tong has been announced as a last minute headliner for this year’s edition of All Points East festival, and he’ll be taking to the stage on Sunday 17th August. What’s even better, you ask? The event is entirely free (zilch! nada!) as part of the festival’s community-based programme.

Joining Pete Tong this weekend will be DJ Yoda - who’ll be bringing a special audiovisual 50 years of Hip Hop set - along with The Cuban Brothers, Kengo and The Tamashii Drummers. What’s more, there’ll be a host of other free activities including live theatre shows courtesy of Half Moon Presents, free fitness classes, book swaps, emerging talent showcases and upcycling workshops, as hosted by the Sunny Jar Eco Hub.

Speaking of his headline DJ set at the fest, Pete Tong has said: “[I’m] really looking forward to bringing some Ibiza vibes to All Points East this Sunday. It’s a great chance to play these tracks in the heart of London and bring a selection of some of my favourite tunes to a festival crowd. See you there.”

The all-day free event is set to take place in the middle of All Points East’s full live programme, which kicks off this Friday with Cleo Sol, SAULT and more. Check out the full programme below, and head to their website to grab any last tickets.
