East India Youth unveils headbanging ‘Hinterland’ video
Observe the intricacies of William Doyle’s thrashing, electronic live set in this new clip.
Through the art of throwing shapes and headbanging to his heart’s content, William Doyle manages to dispel the notion that laptop producers are a dull game when it comes to watching them live. He dives straight into his songs when he’s up on stage, becoming a manically active extension of already amped-up recordings.
That process is laid out in a new video for ‘Hinterland’, which sees Doyle darting projections and trippy kaleidoscopic shapes in the aim of furthering the highlight from debut album ‘Total Strife Forever’. It’s a more extreme version of what it’s like seeing him live, with tense, nagging electronics stealing the scene.
