Efterklang Release Statement Regarding Split Rumours
Band make clear in stating that their last show is not a funeral.”“

Yesterday Efterklang released details of ‘one final show’, declared to be the last time fans would see the band ‘as you and we know it.’
This led almost everybody to the conclusion that the band were splitting, or at least calling time on the name and guise Efterklang that’s released four records over the past 10 years.
The band have since had to release a statement, however, clearing up fears that this is the end of the group’s time together.
A statement reads:
‘Many people misunderstood our announcement yesterday. We are not splitting up.
We are saying goodbye to Efterklang in its current form and to the idea of what Efterklang is.
But our concert February 26th is not a funeral.
Thank you for the incredible response to our announcement yesterday. We are overwhelmed and touched.’
Efterklang’s ‘definitely not a funeral’ of a final show takes place at Sønderborg in the Alsion Concert Hall, on 26th February.
