Elbow Confirm Themselves And U2 For Glastonbury?
Q Magazine says the two bands will play the main stage.

Elbow have apparently confirmed in an interview with Q Magazine that they will be playing Glastonbury Festival this year - and they’ve also confirmed U2, as they’ll be playing the Friday night main stage before them.
‘This month Elbow set off on their first arena tour, to promote their fifth, even better album, ‘Build A Rocket Boys!’,’ the article reads.
‘In June they’ll celebrate their 20th anniversary together. That same month they’re on Glastonbury’s Friday night main stage before U2.
‘For the first time ever we’re releasing a record people might actually buy,’ marvels Mark ‘Pot’ Potter, Elbow’s guitarist and Craig’s older brother. ‘We’ve never been in that position before.”
So, the question is, are Q Magazine speculating, or have they had official confirmation? Click here to view the full extract.
