Elephant Announce Debut Album, ‘Sky Swimming’

London duo Elephant are set to release their debut full-length ‘Sky Swimming’ on 28th April through Memphis Industries.

Amelia Rivas and Christian Pinchbeck have been edging ever-closer to something special in the past two years, ranging from sweet dream-pop to fluttering ’50s referencing wooziness in the process. Their first work contains the brilliant ‘Skyscraper’ single, plus the recently unveiled ‘Elusive Youth’.

An extension of this is new song ‘Statuesque’, which doesn’t feature on the album, it should be noted. The b-side to ‘Elusive Youth’ is a honeyed addition, subtle escapism running through its veins.
