Gladiatoooooors!
Fall Out Boy go all gladiator for ‘Centuries’ video
The band find themselves entering the Coliseum in their brand new video.
Fresh from announcing that they’re contributing a track to Disney’s Big Hero 6 soundtrack, Fall Out Boy have unveiled a brand new video for their latest single ‘Centuries’.
Going all gladiator for their latest visual cut, the band find themselves entering the Coliseum to face a rather large bald man. As you can imagine, things don’t go all that well for the four-piece at first, but they soon come up with a cunning plan to defeat their axe-wielding opponent.
Speaking to DIY last month about the single, the band’s Pete Wentz revealed how quickly it came together. “With this song, Patrick [Stump] just put his foot to the pedal and woosh out it came. I was like, ‘Holy shit, we haven’t even finished touring the last record yet!’ But it felt like the song was that imminent that we needed to do it.”
The bassist also hinted that another album might be closer than fans think. “We have an album mostly written and about halfway recorded. So my guess would be - and this is realistic, because I feel like when you say shit that is unrealistic people call you out on it - that might be done very early next year.”
