FIDLAR share new track, ‘West Coast’
The song features on the band’s forthcoming album, ‘Too’.
After having given us ’40oz On Repeat’ back in June alongside the announcement of new album, ‘Too’, FIDLAR have shared a second track from that second record tonight, titled ‘West Coast’.
Speaking to Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, the band revealed the video for the track will feature live footage… filmed on the East Coast.
“The West Coast video was filmed on the East Coast,” they laughed, “filmed at a collection of shows. Some of it is old footage, some of it is new footage. My brother-in-law and my sister really documented the whole growth of the band. And with this video, we kinda want to show that growth, from playing completely DIY house parties to playing Reading and Leeds.”
‘Too’ is released on 4th September via Wichita Recordings.
FIDLAR play the Main Stage at this year’s Reading & Leeds festivals.
