FIDLAR stream new track ‘Leave Me Alone’
Track is taken from the L.A. punks’ upcoming second album ‘Too’.
As they gear up to take to the main stage of Reading and Leeds festivals this weekend, L.A. punks FIDLAR have unleashed another fuzzy beast from ‘Too’, their imaginatively-titled upcoming second album.
‘Leave Me Alone’ is so much more than its bratty title might suggest. Its choppy opening gradually descends into wailed, snarling chaos, before that earworm of a chorus hits like a freight train - in ‘Too’, it would seem, FIDLAR are handcuffing themselves to the punk-pop throne with a grin and a wink.
‘Too’ is released on September 4th via Wichita Recordings - check out Sarah Jamieson’s interview with FIDLAR in the latest issue of DIY. Following Reading and Leeds, FIDLAR return to the UK in November - full dates below, along with a stream of ‘Leave Me Alone’.
