Florence + The Machine share new song ‘As Far As I Could Get’
Track is taken from a Record Store Day exclusive.
Florence + The Machine have shared a new b-side, ‘As Far As I Could Get’, running separate to Florence Welch’s new album ‘How Big How Blue How Beautiful’.
The track appears on a 12” release for lead single ‘What Kind of Man’, which came out last weekend for Record Store Day. A spiralling, glassy additional cut, ‘As Far As I Could Get’ again sees Welch singing about being at the end of her wits. It’s an experience she’s recounted in the build-up to the new LP, citing a “nervous breakdown” when in conversation with Zane Lowe earlier this year.
For those who missed out on the 12” for RSD, it’s also being included in a box-set vinyl release of the new album, out 1st June. Pre-order here.
