Flying Lotus to interview Kendrick Lamar on Radio 1 tonight

Kendrick Lamar is set to appear on Flying Lotus’ Radio 1 Residency tonight.

An interview between the two collaborators and friends will be aired from 10pm until midnight on BBC Radio 1 this evening. The pairing follows on from their recent work together on Flying Lotus’ ‘Never Catch Me’, which appeared on his most recent record ‘You’re Dead!’. Steven Ellison also produced Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Wesley’s Theory’, the opening track on his latest album ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’; as well as offering advice and beats for the rest of the album’s conception.

According to FACT, the show will also play host to a special guest mix by Lapalux, who released his second album ‘Lustmore’ on Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label this week.
