Foals announce headline show for BRITs Week Together With O2 For War Child
The group will play O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 17th February.
BRITs Week is back with loads of huge bands playing tiny shows across London this February. Raising money for War Child UK, the gigs will kick off on 8th February, running until the 22nd with the BRIT Awards ceremony on the 18th.
Following the release of the lineup - including Bombay Bicycle Club, Sigrid, and Bastille - last week, it has now been revealed that Foals will also be playing an extra special show at O2’s Shepherds Bush Empire on 17th February.
“It’s an honour to be playing a show in support of War Child and their vital work with children affected by war,” Yannis says. “One in six children around the world live in a conflict zone and we’re proud to be able to use our platform to bring attention to this cause. It’s going to be a special night.”
Tickets go on sale for O2 customers on Wednesday 22nd January, with general tickets available on Friday 24th January.
