Foals, Vampire Weekend, More Auction Off Exclusive Drawings For Charity
St. Vincent, Purity Ring and more have been asked for explore their artistic sides for charity.

A new auction set up by Australian radio station FBi Radio has asked musicians to show their artistic sides - some of which are evidently more refined than others - for an new charity auction.
Various ‘works of art’ from the likes of Foals, Vampire Weekend, St. Vincent, Jamie xx and plenty more are being auctioned off. It’s still early days, with some pieces still only 2 bids in. The canvas drawings are currently fetching prices of up to $700 Australian dollars. Proceeds from the auction ‘will allow FBi to further its mission of making Sydney one of the most vibrant and culturally interesting cities in the world, through grassroots support for great local music, art and culture.’
Jessie Ware, Disclosure, Purity Ring, Girl Talk, Local Natives, Tame Impala, Jens Lekman, Frightened Rabbit, Classixx, Kings of Convenience, Ratatat, Iggy & The Stooges, Dirty Projectors Yeasayer, Martha Wainwright, Mercury Rev, Willis Earl Beal, Sleigh Bells, Surfer Blood, Wavves, Moby, Flume, of Montreal and the late Jay Reatard have all drawn special pieces.
Foals’ piece leaves something to be desired, but it’s DIY’s favourite. Bid now on the pieces up for auction on eBay. The auctions close on 2nd December.
