Fucked Up announce ‘Glass Boys’ 7” series, share new tracks
Canadian band are stopping short at their colossal 2014 LP.
Fucked Up don’t quit. Releasing ‘Glass Boys’ this summer was just the beginning, apparently. The prolific Canadian group have announced plans to release ‘Glass Boys’ sessions 7”’s, containing odd bits and extra songs recorded over the past year.
The first 7” includes the brilliantly forthcoming ‘Blink’ and the head-swerving ‘The Way We Did’. According to the band, they “maybe should’ve made the record because they are really good.”
“The songs are about subcultures and growing up around the punk scenes we did in Toronto,” the band say. “You didn’t think we were just going to release a new full-length LP with an additional deluxe version that had an alternate drum pass and just leave it at that right?”
Listen to both new tracks below. Purchase a 7” here.
