Ghostpoet unveils moody new video for ‘X Marks The Spot’
The track gets taken from his third album, ‘Shedding Skin’, which is out now.
Fresh from releasing his new album last week, Ghostpoet has revealed a new, rather moody visual offering for his ‘Shedding Skin’ cut ‘X Marks The Spot’.
As featuring Nadina Shah - who appears almost as a vision of his conscience in the clip - the video is mostly centred around a dark and smoky performance from the man himself, alongside his band. As the song progresses, the intensity is upped, as images of social networking - look out for the ‘Like’ button, in particular - are projected onto the musicians, while an audience rush towards them and get held frozen in suspense.
The clip was created in tandem with fans, who sent in their own content via social media, thanks to #Openshoot.
The newest track gets taken from Ghostpoet’s third album, which came out through PIAS at the start of the month. Read our review of ‘Shedding Skin’ here.
