Godspeed You! Black Emperor announce new album, ‘Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress’

Canadian group Godspeed You! Black Emperor have announced plans to release their new album, ‘Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress’.

Due out 30th March 2015 on Constellation, it follows on from the Polaris Prize-winning ‘Allelujah! Don’t Bend! Ascend!’. GYBE didn’t take too well to winning that award, back in 2013.

The new album clocks in at just over forty minutes, with a statement promising an experience “where composition, emotion and ‘note-choice’ is inextricable from an exacting focus on tone.”
