Godspeed You! Black Emperor share stream of ‘Sweet and Other Distress’
Canadian group’s fifth album is out next week
Godspeed You! Black Emperor are streaming their new album ‘Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress’ in full.
Ahead of its release on 30th March via Constellation, the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Allelujah! Don’t Bend! Ascend!’ is now available to hear via The Guardian.
‘Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress’ was recorded with Electrical Audio engineer Greg Norman at studios in North Carolina and Montreal. Clocking in at just over forty minutes, the album was previewed in February by an excerpt for album opener ‘Peasantry or ‘Light! Inside of Light!’.
