A brand new Diplo track has surfaced, featuring the guest contributions of Grizzly Bear’s Edward Droste and Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij.
Streaming below, ‘Long Way Home’ is built around a beat from Diplo that originally features on Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Stand For’. Sleepy but playful, it’s a spur-of-the-moment collaboration that doesn’t seem to be the sign of any proper release.
Grizzly Bear have yet to offer a progress report on their new album, a follow-up to 2012’s ‘Shields’. They recently celebrated the tenth anniversary of their debut album ‘Horn of Plenty’. Bassist Chris Taylor, meanwhile, is starting his own cooking book, while Daniel Rossen’s scheduled in tour dates for Australia next year.
