The tambourine men
Listen to Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam cover Bob Dylan
They’ve recorded a version of ‘Mr Tambourine Man’.

The Walkmen’s Hamilton Leithauser and Vampire Weekend’s Rostam got together to release their album ‘I Had A Dream That You Were Mine’ back in September, but they’re already back with a cover of a Bob Dylan classic.
The duo’s take on ‘Mr Tambourine Man’ is everything you’d expect it to be. Warm and inviting, Leithauser’s croon at times even sounds like Dylan, albeit swathed in a small dose of psychedelic effects. Despite these increasingly chilly days, it’s guaranteed to warm your heart.
Hamilton is also heading off on a UK tour in March in support of ‘I Had A Dream That You Were Mine,’ albeit without his buddy Rostam. Check out the dates and the cover below. Catch up with our chat with the pair from earlier in the year here.
MARCH
07 London, Village Underground
