Call and response
Harvest Records sells ‘Fuck Harvest’ t-shirts in response to Morrissey
Good-humoured t-shirts are available in red and black.
Morrissey’s former record label Harvest Records have started selling ‘Fuck Harvest’ t-shirts of their own, in response to Moz wearing shirts emblazoned with the same phrase.
T-shirts are available in red and black on the official Harvest store, the same colours Moz sported when making his first live appearance in Lisbon since parting ways with the label.
Morrissey’s initial feud with the label began when the singer claimed his ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’ record hadn’t been promoted enough. This August, his fan site True To You released a statement saying: “”Both Morrissey and Morrissey’s lawyer are in possession of email correspondence from Steve Barnett (head of Capitol-Harvest Records), and also from Steve Barnett’s personal assistant, both of whom confirm that Capitol-Harvest have ended their relationship with Morrissey. No recording Agreement with Capitol-Harvest was ever signed by Morrissey, and Morrissey retains full ownership of ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’.”
Hold tight for another dispute to open regarding the rights to these t-shirts.
They’re available on the official Harvest store here.
See Morrissey originally displaying the t-shirts below.
