The track is also due to be released as a 7” next month, backed with a cover of The Beatles’ ‘And I Love Her’, which was originally aired back in April. The first solo version of ‘Sappy’ was unearthed in August.
Kurt’s ‘solo album’, ‘Montage Of Heck: The Home Recordings’ is set for release on November 13th - director Brett Morgan has stated that the compilation “is curated to feel as though one were sitting in Kurt’s living room watching him create over the course of an afternoon.” The demos Morgen picked out range “from thrash to ragtime and everything in between,” though he adds “most of it is in a space that will be familiar to Nirvana fans.”
