Hear Ellie Herring’s up-close remix of Oceaán’s ‘Candour’ track
Manchester producer’s original settles down.
Taken from last year’s ‘The Grip’ EP, ‘Candour’ is the unsettled highlight on Oceaán’s latest release, the Manchester producer switching in between emotions like a pendulum being thrown down a cliff.
Thankfully, he’s found the space to settle into a groove with a similarly smooth remix of ‘Candour’, courtesy of US producer Ellie Herring. Here, Oliver Cean’s statements (“I’ve never wanted anyone forever”) sound like the precursor to something more terrifying, rather than a bout of indecision.
‘The Grip’ is out now on Chess Club.
