Hear Oceaán make their live debut at Maida Vale, featuring Låpsley
Oliver Cean and his brother appeared on Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 show.
Last night, Manchester producer Oceaán made his debut live appearance - playing as a duo alongside his brother - for a Maida Vale session with Radio 1’s Huw Stephens.
Yet to play a show, Oliver Cean’s instead been making his name on head-turning EPs, inventive electronic pop being a running thread. Last year’s ‘The Grip’ cemented his rep as a bright new talent.
For their Maida Vale session, Oceaán were joined by Class of 2015 favourite Låpsley. The two acts merged ‘Need U’ and ‘This Woman’s Work’, backed by gorgeous live strings. The track’s been uploaded to Soundcloud - listen below.
Listen to the Maida Vale session in full below Oceaán’s forthcoming live dates - he’s been confirmed for a couple of festivals.
