Hinds play shambolic Black Cab Session

While Madrid’s finest ramshackle export Hinds were on tour, they stopped by Black Cab Sessions to play a session for the famous video series. Cramming into the back of a taxi, the band played a brand new song, ‘San Diego’. As you’d imagine it was a typically shambolic run-through, with plenty of yowled harmonies, whistled killer chorus lines, and percussive whacking of various surfaces around the taxi.

“You couldn’t stay here one more night, just take me to the beach alright,” sings the band’s Carlotta Cosials, with plenty of dramatic pointing, before the rest of the band re-joins her. Ramshackle, chaotic, but somehow hanging together, it’s everything you’d hope for from a Hinds session, really.
