Homeshake previews debut album with ‘Making A Fool Of You’

Over the past couple of years, Mac DeMarco’s gigantic world tour have exposed the talents of his fellow oddball bandmates. One of these is guitarist Peter Sagar, who made a big impression earlier this year with his first, self-titled Homeshake EP. Now he’s turning attention to a full-length, which is due out in North America this October.

Leading the record is ‘Making a Fool of You’, a sleepy, psych-oriented track that shares more in common with UMO oddities that anything on Mac’s own material. There’s the same sedated, take-another-toke routine to his work, but Homeshake’s most definitely offering something altogether different.

‘Making a Fool of You’ links up with ‘Cash Is Money’ in previewing ‘In The Shower’, which comes out 7th October on Sinderlyn.

Earlier this year, Sagar featured in DIY’s guide to Mac DeMarco’s bandmates, which put the spotlight on their respective projects.
