Homeshake shares ‘Heat,’ announces new album ‘Midnight Snack’

Homeshake - the solo project of Mac DeMarco’s former touring guitarist Peter Sagar - has announced second album ‘Midnight Snack’. It’s out this September via Captured Tracks’ sister label Sinderlyn. Pre-orders are being taken here.

The first preview of Homeshake’s new album arrives in the shape of ‘Heat,’ a jetlagged piece of lift-jazz meets drone-pop. “Cos she talks to me about heat,” sings Sagar with fragile, lackadaisical vocals, while the half-tempo drums laze forwards in no particular hurry.
