HONNE share video for ‘Coastal Love’
Title-track of Honne’s new EP features Tamsin Wilson of Wilsen
HONNE have shared the video for their recent single, ‘Coastal Love’, taken from their upcoming EP of the same name. The title track features Tamsin Wilson of Wilsen, with the EP out 4th May via Tatemae Records.
The new video - premiered today (22nd April) by The FADER - follows the duo’s recent cover of Darondo’s ‘Didn’t I’. It follows the story of the song’s lovers, set apart by their long-distance relationships and the trouble it brings. With focus firmly on the water, an alien-looking crustacean is pulled out of its stream and delivered to the female in a hotel room before an ambiguous and intriguing ending on the beach.
Somewhat contrasting the song itself, HONNE say that the video for ‘Coastal Love’ seeks to “explore the positive aspects of this rather than focusing on the negatives…We love the fact that it takes you on an unconventional journey but still conveys the meaning of the song.”
