Hyperdub to release new Burial song on forthcoming compilation
’10.4’ is the latest release to celebrate the London label’s first ten years.
It’s been ten months since Burial’s last, surprise ‘Rival Dealer’ EP release (eventually eclipsed by someone named Beyoncé in the last-minute 2014 stakes), but a new track is set to emerge from the enigmatic producer this November.
London’s Hyperdub is planning to share a previously unreleased song from the enigmatic producer on ’10.4’, the fourth compilation to be released this year from a label celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The full tracklist also contains Lauren Halo, Jessy Lanza and Cooly G.
About the new track, Hyperdub is promising a song that’s “unusually triumphant and, compared to recent extended montages, relatively direct 2 step feel.”
