Interpol are free from the snow!
Band are staying in a hotel following a 60 hour standstill.

After a hellish, near endless - but slightly entertaining, from a distance of thousands of miles - standstill, Interpol’s tour bus is finally out of the snow.
The band were forced to cancel two North American dates, in Toronto and Montreal, after being held up in a Buffalo storm that left them lodged on the road for nearly 60 hours straight.
Last night, the band confirmed that they were “holed up for the night while we wait for the roads to open. In a hotel and resting.” Daniel Kessler - who over the past couple of days has taken on a very active #socialmedia role - thanked the Lackawanna Fire Department, before getting very excited at the prospect of staying in the same hotel as the New York Rangers.
24 hours ago, the band confirmed that they’d started “making a move”, before promptly hitting a road block. Their tour buddies, Hundred Waters, also had to cancel tour dates and an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman.
Find the band’s updates below, as the situation gradually improves.
