Jack Garratt announces new EP, streams ‘Chemical’

‘Synesthesiac’ is being led with a new track.

Londoner Jack Garratt has announced plans to release a new EP.

‘Syntesthesiac’ is coming out 13th April on Island Records. Self-produced, it’s being led by the drastic, dramatic to and fro of ‘Chemical’, which just gained its first play as a Hottest Record on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show.

Rules are shunned to an extreme on Garratt’s latest, which blends wob-wob drops Skrillex would die for with a soulful falsetto capable of breaking glass. No punches are pulled, that’s for sure.

The new EP is also set to feature ‘The Love You’re Given’, a track unveiled back in 2014. Check out the full tracklist above the player.

This summer sees Garratt playing Reading & Leeds - before that, he’ll take to the following dates on a May UK tour (including a newly announced second night at London’s Village Underground). Get tickets here.
