Jack White ‘working on third solo album’

Jack White is working on a third solo album.
Label Third Man Records posted images on Instagram this afternoon (31st August) of Jack and other musicians, dated 27th and 30th July and placed in New York and Los Angeles.
Jack’s last solo outing proper was 2014’s ‘Lazaretto’, though he released a collection of acoustic recordings in 2016, titled, appropriately, ‘Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016’. He then took a break from touring in Spring 2015 (though naturally has kept himself busy with The Dead Weather, appearing on Beyoncé records, opening record pressing plants and, er, let’s forget TIDAL ever happened…).
