Jamie xx pays ‘homage to London’ in Boiler Room set

The xx member performed the hour-long set on the rooftop of Young Turks’ London offices.

Jamie xx is no stranger to Boiler Room sets, that’s for sure, but with his latest instalment, he got a little more creative. Performing on the rooftop of the Young Turks’ headquarters in London, The XX member used his set to - in the words of Boiler Room themselves - “whip through the nostalgic touchstones of UK club music, dashed also with some new material.”

What’s more is that Boiler Room have now made the producer’s ‘homage to London’ set available to watch online. You can delve into the depths of his hour-long set - bunting, fairy-lights and all - below.

Jamie xx is also due to take to the stage at this weekend’s Glastonbury Festival (where he’ll apparently appear on the BBC Introducing Stage, if his recent interview with Annie Mac is anything to go by), before he completes work on his forthcoming new album. We’ve already had a taste of what to expect from it, in the form his recently-revealed ‘All Under One Roof Raving’.
