Are Japandroids preparing a comeback?
The internet says a lot of things, but this one is Quite Exciting.

Look, we know - rumours are rumours, and the internet is about as watertight as a sieve - but this is too exciting to let slide: it looks like Japandroids might be preparing a comeback.
A user on Reddit, that Bastion Of All Things That Are Undoubtedly True, reckons they’re booking shows around the Greater Toronto Area. “My brother is in a band that plays in the same kinda scene,” they’ve stated (bloody hell, what a source!!!). “They’re booking shows for the fall now and they’ve had a few venues say they are already booked up on certain days because Japandroids are going on tour again. So look for a new tour in the fall!”
The Canadian two-piece have been fairly quiet for a few years now - we’re long overdue a follow-up to 2012’s ‘Celebration Rock’ LP, that’s for sure. If you’re yet to get acquainted, you can stream ‘The House That Heaven Built’ from said record below.
DIY has reached out to representatives of the band for something a bit more, y’know, trustworthy.
