Q&A Kings
Japandroids hosted a weirdly informative AMA Reddit session
They answered questions on everything from cover art to their favourite albums of 2016.

With the release of their new album ‘Near To The Wild Heart of Life’ fast approaching, Japandroids took to Reddit to host an impromptu Q&A session with fans.
It was a pretty light-hearted session, and along the way they answered a huge range of questions. The pair revealed why they changed their distinctive art style for the latest record (it represents a shift in their career apparently), their favourite guitar pedals, what the best Bruce Springsteen album is, and their opinion on Migos’ ‘Bad & Boujee’ (“our generation’s Beatles”, though the air quotations leave a bit of a question mark there…)
As well as revealing that they were listening to a lot of Lou Reed while recording the new album, the duo also have an insight into some of their favourite records of 2016, which included Frank Ocean’s ‘Blonde’, and Angel Olsen’s ‘MY WOMAN’. They have good taste, obviously.
You can check out the whole of the AMA Reddit session here. Listen to their latest track ‘No Known Drink Or Drug’ below.
