News Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner to release memoir

‘Crying In H Mart’ is coming soon.
Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner is set to release a memoir.
‘Crying In H Mart’ is coming soon, though it doesn’t have a firm release date yet. It follows a recent New Yorker article of the same name written by the singer.
In a statement, the new memoir is described as “about growing up Korean-American, losing her mother too young, searching for identity in a hybrid culture, and finding a passion for her ancestry and Korean cooking as a way to heal and return to her roots in the wake of loss.”
Japanese Breakfast released her most recent album ‘Soft Sounds From Another Planet’ back in 2017.
She also recently directed a new video for ‘Dylan Thomas’, the first single from Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers’ new project Better Oblivion Community Center.
