JAWS are doing a football-themed Euro 2016 gig in London

June 2016 - the month where every football-loving maniac goes off the rails and suddenly falls very ill when England play Wales at 2pm on a Thursday.

Euro 2016 awaits, and Birmingham bunch JAWS have announced a one-off London show based around the tournament.

They’ll be playing The Old Blue Last at 7pm on 11th June, an hour before England kick off their opening game against Russia.

Wales’ tie with Slovakia will also be broadcast, following a set from Welsh band Samoans.

Needless to say, football is most definitely coming home.

It’s a “football music extravaganza” presented by Alcopop!, and to be fair it sounds a lot better than listening to Clive Tyldesley rattle on about “our brave boys” from the comfort of your sofa.
