Jay Z raps the line “lemonade is a popular drink and it still is” on new music
Rumours of an album about the side-effects of soft drinks remain unconfirmed.
Last month, Beyoncé released momentous new album ‘Lemonade’, sparking rumours about the state of her marriage with Jay Z.
Jay Z’s response is to deliver a Gang Starr line in a timely fashion.
The rapper appears on a remix of Fat Joe and Remy’s ‘All the Way Up’, and it’s his first music since the release of ‘Lemonade’.
“You know you made it when the fact your marriage made it is worth millions,” he raps. “Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is / Survival of the littest.”
‘All the Way Up’’s remix is only available on Jay Z’s streaming service, Tidal.
