Listen: Joanna Newsom shares new track ‘Leaving The City’

It’s the second track to preview ‘Divers’.
Joanna Newsom has shared a new track, ‘Leaving The City’, in advance of the release of her upcoming ‘Divers’ album.
The album’s first cut, ‘Sapokanikan’, was revealed with the album’s announcement last month, and a second track is now available to stream from the album, Newsom’s first since 2010’s ‘Have One On Me’.
‘Divers’ arrives on 23rd October via Drag City, and ‘Leaving The City’ is a gloriously floating track, further giving an insight as to what to expect from her first LP in five years.
Newsom has also announced a UK and European tour in support of ‘Divers’ set for the very beginning of November. The three UK shows take place in Manchester, Brighton and London.
