John Grant shares new single ‘Is He Strange’ and performs ‘He’s Got His Mother’s Hips’ on Jools Holland

John Grant is releasing his new album ‘Love Is Magic’ next week, and has shared another new track from it.

‘Is He Strange’, in the singer’s own words, “a pure love song about how you cannot own or possess another person. It’s about letting go of someone you still love and moving on and also how it is possible to continue to love while you are letting go. Much easier said than done.”

In addition to sharing the new song, the singer played ‘He’s Got His Mother’s Hips’ on last night’s episode of Later… with Jools Holland.

The release of ‘Love Is Magic’ comes ahead of a UK tour that begins in October and stretches into 2019.
