JPEGMAFIA drops uncompromising new album ‘EXPERIMENTAL RAP’
The genre disruptor’s latest LP is a huge 25-track project that he announced just three weeks ago.

JPEGMAFIA has today released ‘EXPERIMENTAL RAP’, his expansive, aptly-named sixth studio album (and the follow-up to 2024’s ‘I Lay Down My Life For You’).
Consisting of 25 tracks that he (Barrington Hendricks, aka ‘Peggy’) wrote, produced, and mixed entirely himself, the record features previously released singles ‘babygirl’, ‘War Over Land’, and ‘¥ (Yen)’, and sees him play with the boundaries of rap, rock, punk, industrial, and even gospel to explore notions of modern chaos and contemporary emptiness.
What’s more, Peggy will also embark on The Experimental Rap Tour this Autumn, making stops in 20 cities across North America (in addition to a string of European festival appearances over the summer, including London’s All Points East x Outbreak).
You can find out his full upcoming live schedule and check out the video for ‘¥ (Yen)’ below.
