Julia Holter shares a new version of ‘Horns Surrounding Me’
It’s taken from her upcoming live album ‘In The Same Room’.

Julia Holter is releasing a new live album, ‘In The Same Room’, on 31st March, which is set to include tracks from across her career.
After sharing a version of ‘So Lillies’ when the album was announced, she’s now revealed a new version of ‘Horns Surrounding Me’. The track first appeared on her album ‘Loud City Song’ and was, you guessed it, filled with sweeping brass elements as well as vintage synths. This new live version takes a very different approach, with Julia being accompanied by piano and strings. It’s a very stripped-back, haunting take on what was originally quite a maximalist, strident track.
