Kanye West updates ‘The Life of Pablo’, gives Frank Ocean his own track
“Living breathing changing creative expression” keeps living, breathing and changing.
Kanye West keeps tinkering his latest album ‘The Life of Pablo’.
Initially released back in February, Yeezy has since been making various updates to the record - like a game patch, in music form - with new versions uploaded to TIDAL.
On ‘TLOP’’s latest patch, ‘Wolves’ has been extended from 3:52 to 5:01 in length, now with added Sia and Vic Mensa.
Frank Ocean lent a closing verse to ‘Wolves’’ initial version - that segment has now been separated and named as its own track. It’s called ‘Frank’s Track’. What a lovely gesture.
We could honestly be here all day - until eternity, in fact - updating you on ‘The Life of Pablo’’s various incarnations. You’re best just waiting until Kanye settles on a final form and caves in to the tempting lure of a CD release. Either that, or this is it from now until infinity - this is how all albums will be released, with tiny updates replacing the traditional pre-release anticipation. Worth a think.
