Karen O unveils new video, gets interviewed by Ezra Koenig

Karen O has unveiled a new video for ‘Day Go By’, a highlight from her first ever solo album ‘Crush Songs’, which came out last year.

Alongside the new clip - which shows a young couple soaking up the vibes while holidaying in the sun - the Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer has also been interviewed by Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig.

In the GQ interview, the two New Yorkers discuss selfies, being on social networks and D’Angelo. One of the most interesting aspects comes when Karen discusses making music for an audience. “Part of me is curious about what would happen if there wasn’t the obligation to release music into the public for a long time. I’ve had that pressure—once you start that conversation with an audience, one of the hardest things is to walk away,” she says.
