Stockholm’s Kate Boy are readying a debut album, and they’ve shared the first single, ‘Self Control’.
The Scandi-pop group are already getting a reputation for being strict in their definitions, making D.I.Y videos, imposing restrictions, following a serious routine of - you guessed it - ‘Self Control’. But beyond the context, this is a sharp dart of a single, complete with punching, buzz-saw synths.
‘Self Control’ is available now on iTunes via Fiction Records.
This summer, Kate Boy play Ireland’s Electric Picnic, 30th August.
